   This is not her! Her whole persona is fake and created. that makes me sick. If you have to take from classic faves by marvin gaye, that means you aren't unique or creative and that's sad for a new comer or for anyone. Please people, stay true to yourselves. It's one thing to admire those who came before us, but please express that in interviews when journalists ask what artists you most admire, don't try and recreate an era that already existed...we need to be moving forward, not backward. Now my momma always said. "history repeats itself" but damn, for black folks that should not be the case. Why in the hell do we want to go backwards. We're already too far behind.
