A music enthusiast has started a petition to stop Bad Boy artist Cassie, who became famous for her chart topping song ?Me & U,? from releasing a second single.
"We give her respect for trying, but her existence and presence to the music industry is becoming very annoying and pointless,? begins the document at petitiononline.com addressed to her label, Bad Boy Records. ?If you don't want Bad Boy to fall off, we suggest you drop Cassie ASAP, and suggest that she audition for ?Top Model? or something,? the petition continues. ?This chick is taking up space for true talent in the music industry.?

The thing is there are a lot of good artists these days which are underated and a lot of s*** artists who are overrated. I am happy that cassie has been able to fulfill her dream but honestly i dont think she is vocally talented or that much of a dancer. Nowadays it seems like anyone can do music as long as your pretty but it shdnt be about that it should be about ure vocals or whether ure a performer or not. Also when a new artist kumz out u can either love them or hate them so all u haters out there ure not doin anything wrong!

Everyone has a right to voice their opinion and everyone, like Cassie, who may not be the best singer has a right to put their music out there..I f she's selling records, and people like her music, then who cares?? You don't have to listen to her music, obviously you don't like it, so listen to something else!! Dang, ppl always have to fin the negative in everything..Let Cassie do wut she do!

I don't really understand why there is a need for a petition like this. I guess that it's you're right to form a petition against something but it's also her right to release music and you can't stop her from doing that. It's called the 1st amendment. If people don't want to hear Cassie's music, all they have to do is just stop listenting. If the overwhelming majority lies with this party a petition won't be needed to stop her from releasing music, no good business is going keep someone that isn't making money for them. At this point, it seems that the people who would sign this petition are a minority.

im with u i used to like cassie until she did her 106 and park performance and then i just like tottaly lost intrest and respect for her cause it was like it seemed like she didnt even wana sing i mean she lyp syncs on trl and then to show she can actully sing she goes to 106 and then doenst even sing to the mic she might as well just kept lyp sync cause she sound better there and she cant dance and thats a fact NOTE TO EVERYONE! : BE TALENTED, not just beauitful.

no one's hatin people!! i'm proud of cassie, she fufilled her goal but I thnk she stole someone else's dream. she has no passion for singing (it shows in her voice) and she's really a model. she just had connections and that's how she got here. she can't sing or dance. i'm not hatin'!!! honestly, i think she should stick to modeling. she's good at that. i don't know what the petition's gonna do but....oh well.

Now this isn't always the case but in most cases people shouldn't be talking at all!!! And um I listened to the album and it was nice, it's better than what some other artists are puttin' out there. I think the new song is nice too, so this website and all the hatas need to fall back.
