Now that we've buried the whole Ciara-Vibe debacle, it is time to look at Ciara's new album and new video for "Go Girl."
Making its rounds on the net this week, "Go Girl" features a futuristic, sexy, dark and metallic looking Ciara.
While the "Fantasy Ride" singer pulls off the video, which features T-Pain, quite well, the look has done nothing but re-fueled comparisons to Janet Jackson -- comparisons Ciara would more than likely wish to escape on her third album.
Rocking a metallic outfit in a sort of dark and futuristic sense, some have called the singer's look psuedo TLC ('No Scrubs') also referencing Janet Jackson ft. Busta Rhymes' ('What's It Gonna Be).
Whatever the case Ciara looks to be serious about this new album which faces competition from Beyonce, Britney Spears, and possibly a new Rihanna album next year.
"I'm in a different space now, I'm older...I'm in an even more experimental and really fun feeling phase right now."

CIARA VIDEO JACKED JANET JACKSON'S "MISS U MUCH" WITH USING THE CHAIR. SHE NEEDS TO BE MORE CREATIVE, BEYONCE AND RIHANNA WILL SHUT HER DOWN THIS YEAR, WATCH. "IF I WERE A BOY"

Yes I think she takes on looks of a lot of artist in the video. Ciara tryna create her own style, but I'm not really seeing that. I see a lot of Rihanna, Janet Jackson, Aaliyah, Beyonce' & yes a little of Britney & I can see a bit of TLC's "No Scrubs" video. I mean she does like amazing & I love the video, I just wish she would've made it her own & not everybody else's !

da video is stupid/crazy/dope! t-pain did a really good job on da rap part 2. i agree, even beyonce is copyin ci-ci now, she's on fire and 2008/2009 gonna be her year like 06/07 when the revolution came out. go buy da album!

Their are concerns that when Britney Spears returns will their be enough room for other divas? Ciara's dancing is more amazing and I'm hoping her record company will promote her to the fullest with a high-dollar promotional budget like that of Britney's CD's. African-american artists, especially females, are not always fortunate to get the 4 and 5 video singles off one CD nowadays, like Fergie, Gwen Stefani and Nelly Fertado. Good luck to Ciara and keep it going!!

Rihanna is cool..Beyonce does her thing& even tho im not a fan these days, I aint gonna down Janet...but ciara is basically dope! i've been a fan since "goodies" & her 2nd album was boss too!! Im uber excited to see was she comes wit next!! Go Girl is my jam ((loove the ol skool feel)) I cant wait to see the vid:-)

Ciara is very beautiful and very hot. Sh`s so good as Rihanna and Beyonce. Finaly, sh´s acept chalange the classic diva of the moment and I belive with absolutly sucess. She can to be the 2008 quenn´s. And the video will be supreme.

OKAY!!!! I used to be one of the biggest Janet Jackson fans in the world, but I won't lie...Janet has fallen off....
Ciara looks good...I know the video will be amazing...she's evolved into a woman and I love her new style...She's such a beautiful girl and I know she is going to kill em...this is going to be her year...

Only people 45 and over are thinking about Janet...and even they are over her. Her latest flop proves that.
Ciara looks hot, her dancing in the video will probably be hot too.
