Who Really Made Vibe's October Cover? - Sexy Siren Says 'I'm Not Gonna Hold Back'

After releasing a statement Wednesday, regarding Robin Thicke who wanted to be on Vibe's October issue, the magazine revealed a controversial cover featuring none other than R&B singer Ciara !
Photographed wearing nothing but a pair of platforms, Ciara covers the R&B heavy issue of the magazine that allegedly told Robin Thicke that he could not cover it because he was white. Albeit controversial, the cover as pictured below confirms what many had believed about the Robin Thicke controversy, which was that another artist, in this case Ciara's cover was more viable to the magazine.
Promoting her new album "Fantasy Ride" which is due later this year, Ciara says "I'm not gonna hold back too much" in reference to her new project.
R&B stars John Legend, Lloyd, Ne-Yo, Pretty Ricky and Robin Thicke appear in the issue as well, which reportedly takes a hard look at Pretty Ricky after the depature of group member Pleasure P.
What do you think... Was it better to put Ciara on the cover of Vibe ?
I think that Robin Thicke is a great artist and Vibe is going to regret not putting him on the cover. They sold out putting a naked Ciara on the cover and that is just a scheme to take away the pressure of their choice not to put Robin Thicke on the cover. Good thinking but not good enough

And as far as the Robin Thicke issue he's cool but he really only has one hit. I cant see Vibe magazine bein predjudice they've been around too long.

That cover is cool Ciara looks hot! and I can understand both sides of the arguments here, but marketing is marketing. If Ciara and her people are cool with it fine I love it!

i got the vibe mag in the mall yesterday i was like WOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWW when i saw her on the cover...she's too fine...her pics in said were even better...i liked the interview....ciara's a freak...and i think she's doin ya boy 50

i love the cover i think its hott and i think it a CLASSY way of taking a picture like this and i mean she is older now so she probably just wants to do something not expected.but like i said love the cover cant wait to pick up the mag..

I think the cover is hot. I like Ciara and her music. i think that if she was comfortable enough to pose for the cover we all should be. i dont think she's promotin sex or thinking about keepin her egs open. i think she's tryin to prove she's comfortable being her. As far as Robin thicke, i think it was cruel to not put him on there just because he's white. i like him and his music. his turn will come.

Sorry but when I look at this cover, its just gives me another reason NOT to pick up an issue or subscribe to vibe. Ciara looks like a s***bag & the image she is portraying is that in order to get ahead you must take off your clothes & open your legs. Great Job Ciara!

Q, nok nok... No disrespect, but lets BE REAL. There is a LONG LINE ahead of Robin Thicke if you really want to break it down that generates more hype than he EVER could. And I'm a neo-soul dude and I appreciate his music.. but he ain't even CLOSE to being the best 'soul' artist.... He's got a LONG way to get that kind of clout ONE good song doesn't cut it.

nok nok can you at least act like you have some sense and spell out your words the right way. I know what your saying and that's fine and dandy. But lets say things right. As far as it goes for Vibe i guess it's a goodthing to have Ciara on your cover but you could also add a little diversity to your cover. There is nothing worng with Robin Thicke i think you should give artist out here that is really putting it down there props.

Ummm, yeah... I would MUCH RATHER see Ciara looking like THAT on the cover than Robin Thicke!!! (sorry Robin)

I'm a fan favorite of Ciara's and I personally look forward to her new CD. congradulations to her as well on her modeling contract. But, I beleive their has been some communication behind the seen to Robin thicke as to why he didn't make the cover. Madonna back in the late 90's was said to be pissed off because she didn't make VIBE's cover during her Bedtime stories album release, as well as Christina Aguilara. But in contrast, they have had Eminen on the cover
