R&B Singer Beyonce Knowles, who recently signed a $4.7 million endorsement deal with L'Oreal, has come under fire from various media outlets and the black blogosphere for being too “light.”
In contrary, the Paris-based company said in a statement sent to the Associated Press, "We highly value our relationship with Ms. Knowles. It is categorically untrue that L'Oreal Paris altered Ms. Knowles' features or skin tone in the campaign for Feria hair color."
Beyonce’s deal with L’Oreal is a five-year contract, which calls for her to work 10 days a year for photo shoots and to make promotional and personal appearances within that time.
L'Oreal has the option to extend those 10 days to 12 but will pay $25,000 a day for the extra time. Beyonce must keep her hair in "excellent condition" and notify the company if she plans to make "any radical change."
Who cares what anyone thinks! If it wasn't this-it would be something else! Stop complaining & get a life! If you don't like it look away & don't use that product! There's so much negativity in the world & it's all getting tired now!

What I find interesting in all of this is the fact that hundreds of thousands of Black Women in this country go to their hair sytlist for the same type of hair Beyonce is sporting. Obviously Black Women are getting these type of styles, wigs or no wigs, it is in the marketplace and there is a tremendous amount of $$ being spent in that industry, so the people saying Black Women don't have hair like that must not see what I see.

4.7 million $ and 25 thous a day over the 10 day contract they could lighten my skin on the pictures and I'll smile all the way to the bank. She is not a sell out. She's taking care of business. Stop hatin and see if L'Oreal would put your face and hair in a commercial.... probably not!!!!

Beyonce has sold out! There's nothing like a beautiful black woman who is proud of who she is. And I will no longer purchase Loreal cosmetics.

The commericals are 100% false advertising, Beyonce is wearing nothing but a bunch of lace wigs that is not representing the black woman, they don't wear that crap.
