Will Smith and Eddie Murphy Top Forbes Best Paid Actors List

According to Forbes, Will Smith has been crowned Hollywood’s leading man – an $80 million man that is !
Smith, who starred in this summer’s blockbuster “Hancock,” earned $80 million last year topping his closest competition Johnny Depp who came in at no.2 with $72 million. Smith’s earnings can be attributed to his box office slaying films “I Am Legend” and “The Pursuit of Happyness” as well as a host of upcoming projects.
Elsewhere on Forbes’ Best Paid Actor List, Eddie Murphy tied with comedian Mike Myers despite his recent box office bust “Meet Dave.” Murphy and Myers earned $55 million each.
In related news Will Smith will star alongside Rosario Dawson, Woody Harrelson and Michael Ealy in “Seven Pounds,” due this December.
