R&B singer Toni Braxton has cancelled the rest of her two-year contract in Las Vegas due to illness.
As previously reported on Singersroom, Braxton’s shows were put on hold in April after she was hospitalized for chest pains. Her run at the Flamingo Las Vegas was due to resume June 6, but it has been revealed the singer is now focusing on her health and will play no further shows.
“Her health was more important,” said a casino spokesperson, where she has performed her 'Toni Braxton: Revealed' show since August 2006.
Braxton, who filed for bankruptcy in 1998, has been treated for high blood pressure and heart problems in the past.
Her most famous hits include “Youre Makin Me High” and “Un-break My Heart.”
