Usher To Be The New face Of Ericsson’s New Walkman

Fresh off of his performance on the season finale of MTV’s “The Hills,” R&B singer Usher has reportedly signed a deal with Sony Ericsson as its new brand ambassador. The “Love In This Club” singer will be featured in the company’s marketing starting next month and spearhead the launch of the company’s W350 and W980 Walkman phone to be released later this year.
As part of the agreement, fans will have access to exclusive content and contests including the opportunity to meet Usher on the set of a video shoot and the chance to win tickets to his European concerts.
John Bernard, Sony Ericsson music marketing manager, says: "Working with an artist such as Usher is an ideal fit for us. Here we are at the start of an electrifying launch campaign, poised to deliver a totally 360 degree experience for all consumers and Usher fans alike."
Usher will kick off the partnership with a performance at an exclusive show hosted at London's Indigo venue docklands on May 22.
