Al Green, the soul legend, returns to R&B with a dream team collaborators disc including features from John Legend, Anthony Hamilton and Corinne Bailey Rae. The album concept is bridging together Al Green and selected contemporary artist from the R&B and hip hop genre.
The forthcoming album ‘Lay It Down’ is co-produced by drummer Ahmir "?uestlove" Thompson from the Roots and keyboardist James Poyser.
‘Lay It Down’ is expected to be released on May 27 via Blue Note Records.
