Multi-platinum R&B superstar Jaheim has teamed up with The Steve Harvey Morning Show, The Jamaica Tourist Board, American Airlines, and Atlantic Records to make one lucky couple’s dream of a destination wedding come true. The winning couple, and 20 guests, will be whisked away to the Grand Lido Braco Resort & Spa in Jamaica for the “Ultimate Jamaica Destination Wedding,” complete with a special performance by Jaheim during the couple’s first dance at the wedding reception. The contest will kick off Monday, March 17 with an announcement on The Steve Harvey Morning Show. Contest entries will be accepted until April 4, and the winning couple will be announced on-air and online on April 18, with the wedding trip to take place July 10 - 16, 2008.
To enter the contest, engaged couples will mail a letter and photo to The Steve Harvey Morning Show’s Hollywood office (see address below) answering 4 questions: 1.) How the engaged couple met, 2.) How the couple got engaged, 3.) Why the engaged couple wants to win this contest, and 4.) Why the engaged couple wants Jaheim to sing at their wedding reception. The letters will be judged on 3 criteria: Originality (50%), Creativity (40%), and Meets Entry Criteria (10%). The top 3 entries will be posted on the Steve Harvey website (http://www.steveharvey.com/) beginning April 14 where listeners will then go to vote online until April 17 for their favorite entry to determine the winner. The winning entry will be announced on-air on The Steve Harvey Morning Show and posted online at http://www.steveharvey.com/ on April 18.
Couples are competing for the “Ultimate Jamaica Destination Wedding” which includes:
The Grand Prize:
- Jaheim will perform 1 song live at the reception for the winning couple’s first dance; - A 7-day/ 6-night Super-Inclusive Jamaica destination wedding and honeymoon for the winning couple including air travel on American Airlines, accommodations at the Grand Lido Braco Resort & Spa in Jamaica, and a wedding package including wedding planner, cake, flowers, champagne toast, reception and breakfast in bed the next morning. - The Grand Prize also includes air travel on American Airlines and 3-day/2-night Super-Inclusive trips for 20 guests of the winning couple.
90 runner-up couples will each receive an autographed copy of Jaheim’s latest CD, “The Makings of a Man,” which has sold over 500,000 units since its release December 18, 2007.

First of all I want to say I hate I didn't know about this contest, and I'm mad. Second I know you have heard this a million of times, but I love ya and I play your CD's out I have to buy 2 one to listen and the other as a back-up. The reason for this comment is I am getting married in NC on Aug 30th and I'm from Richmond.VA .My request is I would love for you to perform "Forever" at my wedding while I'm walking down the aisle. I almost lost my fiance' in Oct. he was never sick and got sick and had to wear a colstomy bag for 6months. I was the only on in the household working. Love and Prayers kept us together and our roof over our heads. He went back to work in April. We are almost finish planning our wedding. Thebills still have to be paid but we still have each other. But if anything is possible I would love for this to happen. I'm not the one that has to have a lot of glamour to shine. It's the little things that get me by in life. think about it.

Hello i 22 year old mother with 2 kids and a man who works hard and to support me and my 2 kids. I am a stay at home mom and my boyfriend works. we have always wanted to have a beautiful wedding. We have to struggle with bills, and other stressful things. I think that us winning this jamaican dream wedding would be a wonderful experience for us both.

Cherise & Dwayne has that special thing about them as a couple. They stick together; they have struggled together! They understand eachother. Your song, your messages, your purpose... they know about it, they live it. They are 25 & 28, and has been together since 19 & 22. A couple that has dedicated their time and lives to helping children in their community, and don't have any of their own...(waiting until marriage).:) They are just so unique!

Just reiterating what my fiance said. We r proud of Jaheim. We r definitely huge fans. It would b like we came full circle if he sang @ our wedding. We've been friends 4 yrs. I love Jaheim. I have always been a fan. Even if me and my fiance don't get picked i still would support him. We have been trough much and God has seen us through, we have a already made family and now it's time to make it official. I love the whole cd but "Never" fits my fiance to the tee now that would be wonderful to dance to with u singing it. If we do not win we still will be dancing to it that song!LOL...only by playing the cd.
