Ne-Yo Says He is Not Looking to Sue Beyonce, Rumors are Untrue

Recently a rumor began running rampant on the internet, alleging that R&B singer Ne-Yo was going to sue pop superstar Beyonce over royalties to her 2006 hit single "Irreplaceable."
The “So Sick” hitmaker - real name Shaffer Smith – was also said to be filing the lawsuit against Knowles claiming she reneged on a promise to collaborate on his next album.
Contrary to the reports, Ne-Yo tells Singersroom “this rumor is not true.”
Ne-Yo says he has no beef with Beyonce and this rumor is just another blogger being bored.

Ne-yo did write Irreplaceable and mayb he didn't get credit 4 it but we all kno he did

Hala, its your boy again Yaro, I just want to say the rivalry should stop! NEYO, BEYONCE is your sister and both of you are of African decent. So I just want to say no matter where you come from, your nationality heigth, language or educational background as long as you have a black skin you are an African. Proudly Nigerian

wow its great to hear that it was Neyo that wrote that song, we should all stop criticising the dude, for comin out with the fact, though he denied it, there is an adage which says that "no smoke without fire" there is always an iota of truth in any rumour. proudly Nigerian

You have a point, even if u didnt believe the whole ne-yo thang, there is still Desieree and other people who have sued Beyonce and co. over this. THIS IS A PATTERN!
And even if ne-yo is credited as a co-writer, Beyonce STILL went on national tv and tour and proclaimed "I wrote this for all my ladies blah blah blah". Very shady!

Get your facts stright. Jay-Z is no longer with Def-jam. So if Ne-yo wanted to do this he could. And even if he had gotton fired the bad press would be to much for Jay-Z and Beyonce, remember that!

Beyonce is fake, and she WASN'T going to give him credit for the song, until he said something about it. Even though his name was on the c.d. she was VERBALLY taking credit for writing the song, herself. I don't know why you continue to support her, because she STOLE A WHOLE SONG from Desiree, and nobody cared. She needs a reality check, but I guess everybody's too busy kissing her ass to speak up about it.

Hello people - when you write a song you are not noted as your artist name you are noted as your government name (unless they are one in the same) and your publishing company. If Beyonce's label would have not credited Neyo for co-writing believe me there would have been a lawsuit coming from the publishing company Neyo is signed with as a songwriter and trust me he'll be getting those big royalty checks by this year for that mega hit. IT'S A RUMOR!

@me: Ne-yo is credited as a writer! He is listed by his real name S. Smith. And Ne-yo didn't even make a big deal about Beyonce taking credit for the song because it was a co-write. He even said that. He only addressed the matter because people kept making such a big deal of it.

Thats just it Forch, Beyonce and her croonies wasnt' even gonna admit that Ne-yo wrote Irraplacable until Ne-yo put her on blast and spoke up. Go check her orginal liner notes on her CD, ne-yo's name is no where to be found. Beyonce been shady like this for a while and people starting to see exacly how her and her Daddy operate.
