When asked if she wished she was as famous as her Destiny's Child bandmate Beyonce by Popjustice.com, R&B singer Kelly Rowland had nothing but positive things to say.
"God creates different people for a reason," she said in response. "Everyone will have a different and unique journey and my journey will be different from Beyonce's and her journey will be different from Michelle [Williams'] and Michelle's will be different from everyone else's. I don't think about it or worry that I'm not doing this or achieving that – people do that for me!"
As for her second solo album 'Ms Kelly' and the issues regarding its release, Rowland admitted, "We live in a very different industry now-a-days and it's a little harder to sell records, I'm noticing. But I'm not worried at all. Everything has been wonderful with this record so far. It's the type of album I wanted to make."
Kelly insisted that her label Columbia Records was "really supportive" through the difficulties. "It wasn't them who wanted the album re-recorded, it was me," Rowland revealed. "I felt like the album wasn't ready, it was all mid-tempos and ballads and for fans who had followed me since Destiny's Child, I would be cheating them if I didn't put at least one up-tempo track on there – I wanted to go back in and pump that out."
An unconfirmed report states that Ms. Kelly is expected to be reissued at a date yet to be mentioned by her label, with two new singles, current album track "Work" will be released in the UK, while Daylight", a collaboration with Gym Class Heroes, will also be released.
I agree with u biggurl. Ok Kelly doesnt have 2 hate beyonce. But whats the since of being a star if u aint gonna work hard to shine. Its all of ur dream u said u all wanted this. But for beyonce to be looked @ as the only superstar I mean come on. they dont even give u medium shine. Kelly is treated like a back up singer to beyonce. and thats not cool. I know throught out life all groups have that lead singer thang. But even the others get to have their own image and get respect for it. DC totally took it to a whole new level. And I dont think Beyonce could handle her friends being more famous than her. Because she to competitive and spoiled and it has to be about her. Her and her fam control the group matthew knows what hes doing. But Im looking for the day when Kelly just steps out he box and do her.

Truth be told you are way better than Beyonce. The only difference is that she Got DADA & JIGGU(A) or watever his name is. She aint got game. I like yo positivity keep it up!!!!!!!!!!

First of all the truth shall set you free and the truth is Kelly and Michelle are wonderful women in every way that works for them.But, on the other hand Beyonce is the definition of a determained sister on a real mission that she has accomplised!And you can see in her she shes doing absolutely what she loves!

Kelly is a positve person no matter what anyone throws at her she will always be a positive person and she would be one of my favorites for a long time down the road.

i would've been mad if my album didn't go any where...i think its too stressfull and people are stuck on one person when they should give other people a chance
