Iconic superstar Prince's new album "Lotusflow3r," released Sunday, is positioned for at least a top 5 debut on next week's Billboard 200 albums chart.
Currently riding on Nielsen Soundscan's Building chart, "LotusFlow3r" is however facing tough competition from country recording star Keith Urban, UGK, and Flo Rida, who all have brand new albums in stores this week.

Major retailer Target has put its well known bullseye on Prince's forthcoming three-disc CD set including the icon's much anticipated album "LOtUSFLOW3R".
In an exclusive deal, the three disc set from Prince, also including "MPLSoUND" and the third disc - an album from his new artist Bria Valente, will be made available through Target at the price of $11.98.

Prince is plotting a big year.
According to E!, Prince is planning to release three new albums in 2009.
Likely to be released through an exclusive deal with a major retailer, the new efforts, one of which titled "MPLSOUND," finds the "Purple Rain" star experimenting with new ways of recording.
