Paula Abdul is reportedly "hurt" over American Idol producers making the decision to negotiate with host Ryan Seacrest and judge Simon Cowell -- and not her.

According to Paula Abdul’s publicist, the R&B singer broke her nose over the weekend after she fell while trying to avoid trampling her Chihuahua.
Abdul is currently recovering from the incident and will appear on "American Idol" Tuesday and its season finale Wednesday, publicist David Brokaw said.
"She's a little sore, but is doing fine," he said.
