The cause of 90’s rapper Heavy D has finally been revealed. After previous reports linked the 44-year-old’s death to pneumonia during his untimely passing, the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office full autopsy report, revealed on Tuesday, December 27, confirm that he died of a blood clot in his lung.

90's hitmaker Heavy D passed away at a Los Angeles hospital earlier this afternoon. The rapper, born Dwight Arrington Myers, was taken to a Los Angeles hospital about noon, and pronounced dead an hour later. He was 44.
