R&B Singer Keyshia Cole is gearing up for a September release of her highly anticipated sophomore disc, "Just Like You." The first single off the set, which is already buzzing on radio, is “Let It Go” featuring Missy Elliot and Lil’ Kim.
Cole has also inked a deal with BET to air a second season of her reality show, "The Way It Is," which premiered last year. The new installment will air in the fall, with Cole and her manager, Manny Halley, serving as executive producers. "The Way It Is" will focus on preparation for the new album as well as Cole's mother's recent release from jail.
In the first series of "The Way It Is," fans watch Cole as she steered her way through the music industry and recorded the vocals for future hit "Last Night," with Diddy - and we got an intimate look at Cole's personal life, including a teary reunion with her mother, Frankie, at a prison in California.
Season two will focus on the making of Cole’s new album “Just Like You,” her mother coming home from prison, her sister Neffe, and more.
Cole's debut album, "The Way It Is," has sold 1.4 million copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
