Odd Future member Frank Ocean made the announcement yesterday that he would be embarking on his own solo tour next month. Within hours, all the tour dates were sold out.
Ocean took to his official Tumblr page and posted a video about the news. “I just got home, and I get on the Internet and see that I’m going on tour. I didn’t release the national dates,” Ocean says. “I’m sure there’s some overzealous promoter to blame for that. But nonetheless, they’re out.”
Until now, Frank Ocean has been known mostly for his studio work â from his own mixtape to his songwriting for other artists. Ocean will be making his stop in New Orleans, New York, and Los Angeles in early November.. On top of the three U.S. dates, Ocean will also be heading overseas and performing in Paris, London, and Amsterdam.
