After dealing with several trials and tribulations, singer Leona Lewis is “excited” about the release of her forthcoming album ‘Glassheart.’ Planned for release in November, the set is led by the first single “Collide,” and will be followed by “Trouble,” according to Lewis.

“Yes, I think ‘Trouble’ will be the second single,” she told Digital Spy. “I can’t wait for everyone to hear it. I’m really excited about it. It’s one that I really love.”

As far as the direction of ‘Glassheart,’ Lewis says she experimented with several types of sounds.

“So the album is such an eclectic mix. I’ve really got to delve into every kind of music that I love, really try everything and make the best of everything.” She says. “Because I love so many different genres, it’s kind of hard to just pick one thing to do, so I just did everything!”

Some fans may be disappointed about getting less though, since Lewis only wants to release a 10-track effort: “I want to make a ten-track album. It’s difficult to do that, but I think we’re going to accomplish it. I want the strongest [tracks] and that’s it – no fillers or anything. I want the strongest songs and I think we have them.”

Leona Lewis is ready to show the world her new album, Glassheart. This British singer-songwriter has been hard at work crafting a masterpiece and she’s incredibly excited to finally share it with all of us! She opened up about what went into creating this record and why we should be as thrilled for its release as she is. Let’s dive in and discover more about what makes Leona so passionate about her latest project!

The nine-time Grammy nominated artist has had an incredible career thus far. With five studio albums, two live albums, and numerous singles under her belt, there’s no denying that Leona knows how to make great music. But when asked what sets Glassheart apart from her previous releases, Leona said “I just did everything I wanted on this one…it was really me having creative freedom.” It seems like fans can expect something special from this album – something raw and personal that only comes from true artistic expression.

Glassheart isn’t set to come out until October 15th but luckily for us, we have some previews of what’s to come! We’ve heard snippets of songs such as “Come Alive” and “Fingerprint” which gave us a glimpse at the magic Leona created for this album – plus some hints at the kind of soundscapes she put together. We can hardly wait to hear the rest of the tracks!

Album Overview

Leona Lewis is thrilled to be releasing her third album, Glassheart. She has put a lot of hard work and dedication into this project, and can’t wait for the world to hear it. The singer-songwriter says she “just did everything” when creating the record, from writing most of the songs to producing them herself.

The album consists of fourteen tracks that range in style from pop to electronic music, all with an edgy twist. As Lewis puts it, “it’s like if you took some classic soul records and gave them a modern spin.” There are also touches of rock ‘n’ roll throughout which add an extra layer of depth to her sound. It’s clear that Lewis has really pushed her boundaries on this record; taking risks while still staying true to who she is as an artist.

Glassheart is sure to be a hit with fans old and new alike; showcasing Leona’s talent as both a songwriter and producer. From its upbeat rhythms to its emotionally charged lyrics, there’s something for everyone here – making it one of the most anticipated albums of 2012.

Creative Process

Leona Lewis’ creative process for Glassheart was a labor of love. She poured her heart and soul into every aspect, from writing the songs to producing them. Working with some of the industry’s top producers such as Max Martin and Ryan Tedder allowed her to explore different sounds while still staying true to herself. With their help, she crafted an album that is both modern and classic at the same time.

Aside from working with other producers, Leona took it upon herself to record many of the tracks on the album. This gave her complete control over how each track sounded and also made sure it had her own personal touch. Not only did this make for a more cohesive project overall but also created something truly unique in today’s music landscape.

It’s clear that Leona put everything she had into making Glassheart; creating a musical journey that takes listeners through different emotions and styles. It’s an exciting release from one of pop music’s most talented artists – one that will surely be remembered for years to come!

Conclusion

I’m really proud of the album I’ve created for Glassheart. It’s been an incredible journey and it feels amazing to finally be able to share my music with everyone. This project has allowed me to push myself creatively and musically, and I feel like I have grown so much as an artist.

The creative process was something that excited me immensely – being able to experiment in the studio and explore new sounds while staying true to my roots was a great experience. Allowing myself to take risks has helped me create a unique sound that I am very proud of, and one that resonates with people all around the world.

It’s been such an honor working on this record, and I can’t wait for you all to hear it! Thank you again for your support throughout this journey – it means the world to me.
