American Idol Alum Jordin Sparks is a little worried she may lose her crown as the youngest winner of the Foxx reality show. Sparks, who says she hasnât been watching the show regularly due to her busy schedule, has her eye on some âamazingâ young talents.
âIâve seen a couple of episodes. Iâve been pretty busy, everythingâs been insane. But Iâve watched a couple,â Sparks tells Singersroom. âI actually might lose my crown this year of [being] the youngest winner ever because they lowered the age and there have been some great 15, 16, 17 year olds that Iâve seen and theyâre so amazing. So I wish them the best of luck and I hope that they do well.â
Sparks also tells Singersroom she has started work on her third studio album, the follow-up to âBattlefield.â
âI just started working on it. I was recording something today that might potentially be for a movie â the theme song of a new movie coming out, so Iâm excited about that,â she says. âIâm working on new stuff. I saw Ryan Tedder and he gave me an amazing song that Iâm really, really excited about. So weâll see how it goes.â
