Donell Jones Enters Urban AC Top Ten With 'Love Like This'

R&B veteran Donell Jones is garnering some momentum before the release of his new album, ‘LYRICS’ on September 28th. The sets first single, “Love Like This” is already in the Top 10 and growing at Urban AC radio.

‘LYRICS’ is Jones’ fifth studio offering and the long-awaited follow-up to ‘Journey Of A Gemini,’ which included the hits, “I’m Gonna Be” and “Spend The Night.” All tracks on the new disc were written and produced by Donell.

Donell also recently released his follow up single "Strip Club," featuring rapper Young Joc, a heavy hitting club tune.

An Atlanta native, Donell Jones released his debut solo effort, My Heart, in 1996. This was followed up by his Platinum-selling sophomore album, “Where I Wanna Be,” which included the hits "U Know What's Up", a collaboration with Lisa "Left-Eye" Lopes which reached #1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks Chart, and the title track “Where I Wanna Be,” which peaked at #2 on the same chart.
