Janet Jackson On The Downslide, Desperate Says PETA

Janet Jackson might have received praise for recent performances on American Idol, at Essence Music Festival and mixed reviews for her portrayal of Dr. Patricia in "Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married Too?". What she received from PETA in a statement Friday was far from that however. In fact, PETA says they're surprised that Jackson would stoop as low, with her career "on the downslide," appearing in mink for Blackglama.
"It’s amazing what celebrities will do when their careers are on a downslide, but we didn’t think that Janet was this desperate. Surely she knows enough about suffering and unjustified death to recognize that both occur in the production of a fur coat," PETA wrote. "We are asking her to think again and to donate these stolen skins to be used as bedding for animals orphaned by other human-caused disasters, such as loss of habitat."
Jackson, as previously reported appears in Mink (see here) in a new ad campaign for Blackglama titled "What Becomes A Legend Most?".
Jackson has not commented on PETA's statement.

I have always thought of Janet as an animal lover. I guess I`m wrong. Perhaps she needs to vist a fur farm and see how they harvest the fur. Perhaps she`d change her mind about wearing fur. This whole things comes has a surprise about her.
@LaughingAtYou...I'm sure you are a fat mesirable person and have nothing better in your life to do but make negative comments about the Jacksons. They only reason you couldn't wear a fur, real or faux, is because you probable weight 300 pounds. Get a life?

PETA is insignificant and just wants to be in the news, nobody else caes about what they do or think.
PETA needs to shut up!!!!! Find something else to do with their time. They are washed up.
pETA is only interested in fattening their wallets. They do nothing for the animals themselves, except pay them lip service.
That said I think alot of what PETA does is over the top and hurts them more than helps the animals. Why not just wear faux? Its soft and most of the time looks better and is less expensive. Why should your outfit have to cause anyone or anything pain at some point?
IDIOTS!! Its different than animals killing other animals or hunting. They freaking skin them while they are alive. The actually use knives to peel the skin and flesh from these animals! They dont take a clear shot and kill them quickly.
