Mary J Blige Mary J Blige had some success with her single "Take Me As I Am" in 2006. This week, writers who say they penned the song are ready to take her to court !

In documents filed in California July 8, songwriters Ballard and Jones claim Blige and The Clutch stole the song, which they say was released in 1995.

"On information and belief, defendant Mary J. Blige and the other named defendants had access to, copied and incorporated substantial, original portions of plaintiff's composition," the suit reads.

Seeking a payout for all the singles and albums sold in all formats, royalties and publishing, Ballard and Jones are also taking Keri Hilson to court, who is part of the production team -- The Clutch.

"Take Me As I Am," a top ten Billboard R&B/Hip Hop Songs charting hit, is taken from Blige's 2005 effort "The Breakthrough".
