Former Destiny's Child singer Kelly Rowland has hit No. 1 on
the Billboard Dance/Club Play Songs chart with “Commander,” featuring
David Guetta, the first single off her forthcoming self-titled album via
Universal Motown. The dance track bumps Lady Gaga’s “Alejandro” from
the top spot.
“Commander,” produced by renowned dance guru David
Guetta and written by Grammy winner Rico Love, is also a Top 10 hit
on the UK Singles chart.
That success is likely to be repeated with the release of two new singles, “Rose
Colored Glasses,” which has been serviced to Top 40 and Pop Rhythm
Crossover radio formats, and “Grown Woman,” which broke out of
the gate as the No. 1 most-added track at Urban AC radio.
Rowland is currently traveling the planet, promoting the upcoming release,
which also features collaborations with Stargate, Dr. Luke, Ne-Yo,
Salaam Remi and Esther Dean.

Congrats Kelly, I love the new song...
