How has life really been for Alabama native Ruben Studdard since winning the American Idol title ? Studdard will let us in on what it is truly like behind the scenes in the just announced second season of TV One's Life After.
"Once a choir boy, R&B crooner Ruben Studdard became American Idol's first African American winner during the show's nail-biting second season, edging out runner-up Clay Aiken. Since then Studdard has struggled with album success but with his new music he's looking to rise back to the top," reports TV One. "Watch as we explore his Life After American Idol."
Studdard joins ex-Video Vixen turned author Karrine Steffans, comedian Mark Curry and Ron Artest on "Life After," season 2, premiering July 19 on TV One.

Ruben is so underrated. Awesome talent. It'll be great to hear things from his perspective. I hope he does "get real" because many of us would like to know why someone with that much talent is not producing chart topping music and is not more visible.
Looking forward to watching this show. I hope that he reveals some behind the scenes of American Idol. He has always been my favorite idol.
