Precious Tops DVD Charts Post Award Streak

Fresh off its award winning streak, including honors for Mo'Nique, Gabourey Sidibe, Geoffrey Fletcher and Lee Daniels, "Precious" claims the top spot on this week's DVD sales chart !
A film based on an illiterate Harlem teen who turns her life around, 'Precious' debuted atop the chart Wednesday -- this after arriving in stores just hours after the Academy Awards.
The drama, which claimed the No. 1 slot on the Nielsen VideoScanFirst Alert sales chart, was one of three high-profile theatrical releases that made their home-video bows during the week.
Precious also ranks high on the rental chart, coming in at no.3.
