Laura Izibor 'Honored' To Visit White House

Laura IziborAtlantic recording artist Laura Izibor is headed to the White House this week.

According to her label, Izibor received an invitation from President Barack Obama for the traditional St. Patrick's Day celebration, taking place March 17.

Said to be 'honored and delighted,' Izibor, also of Irish descent, will attend the annual celebration of all things Irish with a traditional hand-ove shamrock from the Taoiseach (Irish Prime Minister).

As previously reported, Izibor's debut album 'Let the Truth be Told' reached the US top 30. She has also toured with Maxwell and is currently on tour promoting the album.
