Monica Confirms Split With Fiance, Rocko
Just weeks before her anticipated album "Still Standing" arrives in stores, Monica and fiance'/rapper Rocko have decided to call it quits.
Confirming the end of their lengthy relationship, Monica told fans "even separated we will always be family," Thursday, March 11.
While the "Everything To Me" and BET reality star ('Monica: Still Standing') did not confirm just what might be behind the split, sources say the "I'mma Do Me" rapper had been unfaithful in their relationship.
Nonetheless, Monica is taking the situation as a learning experience.
Thanking fans on Twitter for their support, she wrote the following Thursday.
"Thank U everyone for all the love you're sending. @Rocko4Real is a great father and we will continue to love and parent our children. The rest is a private matter between @Rocko4Real and I. He is a good person. We all make mistakes," said Monica. "Even separated we will always be family. I say thank U again to U all. And as I live and learn I grow. Don't feel sorry for me just pray for me. Gods got it. Have a great day."
Monica and Rocko have two sons together and appeared on the BET reality series 'Monica: Still Standing'.
Monica's album, aptly titled "Still Standing," is due in stores March 23.
