Usher Wants His Swagger Back With Raymond Album
Usher admits to loosing his swagger somewhere between "Confessions" and "Here I Stand". With the forthcoming album "Raymond Vs. Raymond" the chart-topper, with fire in his eyes, is intent on getting that swagger back !
Covering the latest issue of Billboard, Usher admits "I had checked out... I went all the way into being super husband and super dad, thinking, 'I've got to be serious all the time. I've got to be the man.' I put my swagger down for a minute, but I didn't throw it away. Now it's time to get it back."
With a troubled marriage behind him, new management and music, Usher seems poised for a comeback with "Raymond Vs. Raymond"
Due in stores March 30, the album features "Hey Daddy (Daddy's Home)," the Nicki Minaj assisted "Little Freak" and the just released single "OMG," featuring will.i.am. But, according to Usher the album is also packed with renewed confidence and energy.
"A lot of things have happened in the last few years that could have broke me, but I'm still standing; rejuvenated with a new peace, confidence and energy," says Usher. "I've got fire in my eyes."
While Usher seems to be renewed and in a new place, the question is... do you think Usher can get his 'swagger' back with "Raymond Vs. Raymond" ?

To all who are saying Usher is over. STOP IT NOW. Sure he slid a bit a bit but not so hard, LITC was huge on his last album. There were many others that fell off worse than Usher did and his career is not over: (Brandy, Sean Paul, Christina Aguiliera, Jessica Simpson, 50 cent, Enrique Iglesias, Chris Brown, Alicia Keys, Mariah, Nelly, etc.) Please if you all really love Usher which I know deep down most of you do no matter what happened in the past, please support him and continue to being his fan, not wish the worst for him. He will definitely comeback! I am always praying for you Usher.

I don't even believe that His mom is not managing him maybe Usher's mom is still working with him on this album out and his new management team is guiding him also for the album. This personal drama has to end, we want Usher to be #1. Go take them artists down Usher.
U all have to really stop hating and talking BS about Usher. His new stuff is awesome and it is gaining on the charts. Daddy's home is huge on Rnb and Urban and is rising on hot 100. Little freak is also going to be massive everywhere and a video is coming out which will do wonders. Omg may not be his best song but it will do fine as well and it will cater more to the pop music masses. USHER WAS NEVER FINISHED IN THE FIRST PLACE. I think the king is still doing good if you all don't see that u r not really Usher's fans at all. In my opinion Usher's new music from Here I stand was underrated and his new stuff is good too (except LITC and Papers). U all who think usher fell off was because Tameka ruined his life. Get over it please and support the man. Usher still makes awesome music.
@OK. The songs that didnt make it on HERE I STAND was far better than what was on that cd. Usher need to regroup and then come back because this is not working for him. Hes trying to keep up with the joneses when hes already the joneses,LOL
Usher is OVA. I'm sorry (I can't believe I'm saying this but) Justin Timberlake finished him after SexyBack was released. Name me an Usher record that made sence after that Confessions album...
there will never be another MJ so please stop the comparisons. With that being said, Usher just needs to be himself, I'm not feeling the music hes been releasing as of lately. And that song OMG, is a hot mess and if his cd is anything like here i stand, I'll keep my money this time around also. daddys home had to grow on me.
usher has a great body of work, and i have always been a fan...but he aint gonna reach his full potential puttin out garbage ass records like papers, and daddy's home...he is supposed to be our generations MJ...im not so sure now...get it together ursh!!!!!
