Keyshia Cole and fiance' Daniel Gibson have officially confirmed the birth of their son.
Born Tuesday, March 2, the couple has decided to name the newborn Daniel Hiram Gibson, Jr..
Daniel weighed in at 7 lbs 3oz at birth according to US Magazine, who received an official statement from Cole's camp Wednesday.
"The proud couple would like to thank everyone for giving them privacy during this special time," the statement reads. "Keyshia would also like to give a special thank you to her fans that have been with her since the beginning sharing in her growth as a woman and an artist."
Cole and the baby are said to be doing "great".
Cole and Gibson became engaged New Year's Eve. This is their first child.
