Ne Yo Hates Clingers, Claims Men Should Be Accessories
Ne-Yo speaks for many 'gentleman' when he says "we hate clingers".
According to the "Year of the Gentleman" award-winner, women who have their own, like he sings in "Miss Independent," are much more attractive.
"It’s one thing to want a man, but not necessarily need a man," Ne-Yo told press while attending Cosmopolitan's "Fun Fearless Men of 2010" Awards Tuesday. "You need to have your own money and your own life."
But having your own is not all, the Grammy winner believes your mind must be set to looking at men as "an accessory".
"A man should be an a accessory as opposed to a necessity," Ne-Yo goes on to say.
As previously reported, Ne-Yo is working on a follow up to the 2008 album "Year of the Gentleman". While an exact release date has not been set, the project is rumored to be slated for a Summer/Fall 2010 release.
