Jill Scott, Maxwell Join Forces For Spring/Summer Tour

Grammy Award winners Jill Scott and Maxwell are going on tour, not apart, but together this Spring !!
According to organizers, dates and venues are being finalized for a 20-city tour that will make rounds through much of the U.S. by July.
Set to kick off May 21st in Cleveland, Scott and Maxwell's tour is likely to make stops in New York, Detroit, Los Angeles, Washington DC, Oakland, Los Angeles and Chicago.
Maxwell, catapulting off recent Grammy Award wins, will tour in support of the Platinum selling 'BLACKsummers'night' (Columbia), while Scott will be performing hits spanning her 10 year career starting with the double Platinum Grammy nominated debut album 'Who Is Jill Scott?Words and Sounds Vol.1'. Scott will also highlight songs from the anticipated 2010 album 'The Light Of The Sun'.

This is a beautiful thing two of the greatest entertainer in the business on tour together. Thank god for giving Maxwell the strength and courage to deal with life and death and knowing that the people that we encounter in life are loan to us by god; so knowing that, we as human being need to cherish life while we have the opportunity. I saw your show the last time you were in Detroit; it was full of passion and pain! Just the stage set up and performance that you presented really showed, that person must have really touched your life, it was a beautiful and heart felt performance. Jill you have inspired me in so many ways as a black business women! You have help me through so many good and bad obstacles in my life through your music and I feel blessed to be able to hear and see you live! I thank both of you for the inspiration!
