Beyonce, Tina Turner Make Billboard's 'Money Makers' List
Beyonce and Tina Turner had a stellar 2009, according to Billboard's just revealed "Money Makers" list.
A list covering the top earners in music, inclusive of each artist's album, ringtone, ticket, and other related sales, Billboard's 'Money Makers' list hit the net Friday.
Beyonce, leading the pack of R&B artists on the list, earned over $23.6 million in 2009 alone. While Beyonce spent much of the year touring in support of the multi-Platinum selling "I Am...Sasha Fierce," sources say the "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)" singer made over $2.3 million in album royalties alone.
Following Beyonce, Tina Turner made the top 40 list thanks to earning over $13.1 million in 2009. Turner raked in much of the $13.1 million on her 'Farewell European Tour'.
Lil Wayne ($12.8 million), Michael Jackson ($17.1 million) and Pink ($36 million) also made the list. U2 tops the list however, with over $108 million in earnings, followed by Bruce Springsteen ($57.6 million).

You are right, Pink is underrated! Just look at her Grammy performance which has now become one of the music industry's most memorable performances ever at any awards show! I'm surprised that she is not considered one of the it girls because all females don't always look up to all the women who are always glamed up like Beyonce & Rihanna for their has always been room for rough, tough, rock chicks like Pink! She has sold just as many or more records & has had more top 10 hits than both of them! Also too, for Pink to speak out against Beyonce after all these years, there must be valid reasons and some truths behind Bey's camp doing shady dealings behind the scenes when it comes to any sort of female competition for that is another topic by itself!(Still love ya Bey)! Pink & Beyonce are both talented and can co-exist together on the charts!
DAMN Pink i see. which you're a underrated artist but hey at least you always stay true to yourself and your fans
