Producer Slams Beyonce, Dad Over Stolen Credit
Beyonce and her father/manager, Mathew Knowles, are facing heat over song credits yet again.
In a recent interview, record producer Rob Fusari, accused the duo of taking credit for using Stevie Nicks riffs on the hit Destiny's Child single "Bootylicioius".
Claiming that he came up with the idea to use part of "Edge of Seventeen," Fusari says Mathew Knowles later told him sharing credit did "not sell records".
"I remember watching Barbara Walters interview Beyoncé about 'Bootylicious', and she told Barbara about how she came up with the idea for the track," Fusari told Billboard.
"I called Mathew which was a big mistake. I got emotional and I apologised after - but I called Mathew and said, 'Mathew, like, why," says Fusari. "He explained to me, in a nice way, he said, 'People don't want to hear about Rob Fusari, producer from Livingston, NJ. No offence, but that's not what sells records. What sells records is people believing that the artist is everything'."
"And I'm like, 'Yeah, I know, Mathew. I understand the game. But come on, I'm trying too. I'm a squirrel trying to get a nut too.'"

@ Troy- Very well said.
@ T.A. Jones I agree, especially about the comment made by LilCUNTa, i mean lilkunta.
Don't U People see...it's not her....it's her DAD he is the one who starts all this madness. That's why they have had beef.
Is any1 suprised. She always buys credits. Her Destiny Child hits were written by Kandi Burruss & Kevin Briggs NOT her!
Some comments are just to ignorant to respond to....
Isn't that what's she's known for. She's stole almost her entire career from other artist and performers to pass her own career off as new and refreshing...she's a barn yard dog just like her manipulating father...and he's taught her everything she knows. It's just a matter of time before she hits rock bottom. What a waist, while all of these real singers, and performers get looked over and she get's the upper hand by being manipulative..and the only reason she's gotten as far as she has is because of her father, because she's light skinned, and wears her hair blonde, trying to fit the stereotype of what white America sees as beautiful, when there are so many other beautiful, dark skinned, volumptuous singers out that would sing rings around this chic.
