Chris Brown Supports Tiger Woods, 'He Is The Best'

Seemingly trading places in terms of public scrutiny, Chris Brown and Tiger Woods have endured tough times over the last year. While he has not spoken with Tiger Woods, "I Can Transform Ya" singer Chris Brown supports the embattled athlete.
"My hat is off to [Tiger Woods] -- I support him," Brown told Morning Mojo earlier this week.
"Whatever his personal life is -- and I think this goes for me and him -- his personal life is his personal life. I do music, I sing songs, like, I'm an entertainer, I'm a performer, but people make mistakes," he added. "So my hat is off to him -- I support him, I hope he gets back on the field and does his thing, cause he is the best at it."
Brown is currently completing labor oriented service and taking domestic violence related classes as part of his sentence, this after pleading guilty to a felony assault charge.

I too heard the whole interview and the blogs that already hate Chris took quotes and blew them out of proportion. I agree wholeheartedly with his opinion that entertainers (athletes, singers, etc) are here to entertain and their personal lives are not the reasons why we fell in love with them...it's their talent solely. Almost every great entertainer has dealt with drug problems, philandering ways, STD contraction, marriage issues and DV. These entertainers are not here to raise our children. As a future parent, I would have no problem explaining to my children you can appreciate someone's talent but they should idolize the good work-working people in their community who they see everyday.

I agree with @Kayla 100% also, I heard the interview yesterday too and Chris was right on point with what he said. This is not news so why are media sites making such a big deal out of it, Chris Brown still has the right to his FREEDOM of SPEECH doesn't he!!!
I listen to the entire interview and like Kayla said earlier these blogs are the worse and he did say Tiger is the best at golf and should return to the game...stop copying what other sites have a read for yourselves...damn shame how ppl are all over this young man for speaking the truth...Nelly said the same thing in an interview about Tiger knowone posted that interview or misquote him...sad..
I am so happy for Tiger, he was wrong but he is doing the right thing. All these women all chasing the $, it could have been bad for tiger. He was stupid to do it but smart in how he handled it.
