Whitney Houston 'Croaky' But 'Fine' Says Promoter

Despite being deemed "not fit to perform," Whitney Houston's concert promoter says the diva is fine health wise and might have been out of breath in a "couple songs".
"It was not a train wreck," McManus told press Tuesday. "She was hitting most of the notes, yes her throat was a little croaky."
While Houston's health has been brought up from concerned fans and via a report issued by the National Enquirer, claiming Houston's family had asked her to scale back the tour, McManus says "Her health is fine but she's also not 22 years of age anymore."
More than anything McManus wants people to understand that Whitney Houston is not the same as she was twenty years ago. He goes on to say that Houston is not "up to scratch of the Whitney of 20 years ago. But I don't apologize for that, she had a red-hot go."
Sources say Houston's "Nothing But Love Tour" will continue as scheduled.

Everything is their with Whitney's show (the high-tech stage, the rocking band, her wardrobe,etc.) except the voice! She runs circles around Mariah & Celine when it come to stage charisma & enthusium, but the voice is shot! Why has no one in her camp tried to suggest to her those Chinese vocal remedies that past vocalists have been successful with! Although its like crying over milk that is repeaatdly spilling, but I am dissappointed that she didn't maintain control over her career and talents like her rivals Madonna, Mariah & Janet have done! Considering how sane Bobby is acting on Celebrity Fit Club and how he has moved on in his personal love life, we cannot continue to blame him and we the fans need to hold her accountable for her behavior and her choices to damage her vocals! Tough Love! As a fan, we spend money on tickets just becuase its her, but we too have to watch and endure the what could've been; as we watch these bad performances!
You are right she is not 22 years old anymore and to be honest about it she is not singing good at all. I loved her music.
I saw a video clip of the Whitney performance every on is talking about online at www.eJams.com and it sounded pretty bad to me.

She couldn’t entertain a dead rat, to be honest. Everybody tried to find excuses for her performance - I ask : How Tina Turner, can perform with an amazing voice on age 60+, and Whitney Houston can`t perform at 46, like in good times ? - she`s done ...she looks tired, groggy, out of control ...
