Nominations for the 41st Annual Dove Awards have been revealed with "Justified" singer Smokie Norful leading the pack !
Nominated for work on the 2009 effort "Smokie Norful Live," the "I Need You Now" singer joins fellow nominees Israel Houghton, Bebe and Cece Winans, Brian Courtney Wilson, Fred Hammond, Hezekiah Walker, Donnie McClurkin and Karen Clark Sheard.
Among Norful's nominations is a nod for Contemporary Gospel Album of the Year, where he joins Tracy Edmond, Hezekiah Walker, Fred Hammond and Heather Headley.
The 41st Annual Dove Awards take place April 21, 2010 in Nashville, TN, airing live on the Gospel Music Channel (GMC).
Dorothy Norwood, Mandisa, TobyMac, Kirk Franklin, Donald Lawrence, Vickie Winans, Mary Mary and Melinda Watts are also nominated for awards.
