SadeSade and Jaheim have plenty of reasons to celebrate this weekend. Both of their albums, "Soldier of Love" and "Another Round," have reached the top 3 !

"Solider of Love," Sade's first album in nearly ten years, is this week's top debut. Moving over 502,000 copies, the effort is automatically certified Gold and well on its way to Platinum.

Record breaking, "Soldier of Love" is also the best debut for any recording act since 2008s AC/DC album "Black Ice" (784,000 copies, November 2008).

In related news, Jaheim's decision to go "Another Round" has paid off with a strong debut at no.3

According to Billboard, the "Ain't Leavin' Without You" led album sold roughly 112,000 copies in its first week -- Jaheim's second strongest debut to date.

"Another Round" is the R&B crooner's fifth studio album, following the 2007 effort "The Makings of a Man".

Sam, I know I may be a bit much to handle, but will you marry me? You are spot on with your assessment.

I'm happy with Jaheim numbers. He really didn't have that much promotion and still his fans purchased the cd. All of Jaheims cds are excellent material. Keep doing your thing Jaheim.

Knew her album would be number 1. She's what music has been missing, and her album is GREAT. She's GREAT. Show these young'ins how it's done.

It is great that after all these years that an R&B based artist(Sade) is able to do what the Rock/Pop & country artists were able to do which is sell units by maintaining a loyal fanbasealong with top-notch promos by their label! I always knew it could be done; Black artists just needed the same type of equal promotion as their pop/rock & country peers! Sony/Epic records R&B division has made a complete about face is now recognizing that R&B can & has always been a strong, solid genre that can return profits that keep the company in the black & your staff employed with Maxwell's strong debut least year and with Toni Braxton, Erkah Badu, Faith Evans & Jody Watley set to release NEW MUSIC soon, R&B overall will soon dominate once again! You cannot keep down a genre that all others were derived from! Now if we could do the same for our R&B groups, it would be even greater!
