Mariah Carey Joins Cowell Haiti Relief Single

Mariah CareyMariah Carey has just signed on for American Idol judge, Simon Cowell's anticipated charity single poised to aid in Haiti relief efforts.

Joining a growing roster, news of Carey's addition follows that of Jon Bon Jovi, Miley Cyrus, Leona Lewis, Susan Boyle and Rod Stewart.

As previously reported, the celebs will cover R.E.M's "Everybody Hurts".

Speaking of the growing list of celebrities willing to take part in the recording process, Simon Cowell says "It's amazing these singers are clearing their schedules to make this happen."

A release date has not yet been revealed.
