R&B Singer Case Signs New Deal, Preps New Album

According to reports, R&B singer Case is back, equipped with a new album and a new label. The Touch Me Tease Me singer, who was the first R&B singer signed to Def Jam?s Def Soul Label, is said to be taking his project the independent route.
With the help of his manager Blue Williams, whose Indigo Blue Music Group imprint is furnishing the project, Case was able to negotiate a release from Def Soul and sign a new deal with Skeleton Key Entertainment.
According to vibe, Skeleton Key Ent. offers the same services as the majors - funding, distribution, in-house marketing, promotion, and publicity services - but structures their deals so the artists retain ownership, creative control, contribute tremendously to the way their product is marketed and promoted, and are only committed for short-term contracts.
Case's project is expected to release early 2007.
A native New Yorker, Case got his start in the music biz in the '90s, singing backup on albums by several renowned R&B artists (such as Usher).

I've known Case since his debut,I feel he will be larger than ever with his new album,new direction and peace in his heart. Everybody should buy this tremendous album and recognize a true r&b artist that is not just in it for the money but for the love of just singing and delivering a message.
