Alicia Keys "Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart" singer Alicia Keys nabs another week atop the R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart this week. Proving to have the winning formula over three weeks after the release of her latest album, Keys tops new entries on the chart, including "I Get It In" singer Omarion.

"The Element of Freedom," Keys' fourth studio album, moved another 48,000 copies this week, pushing it close to Platinum certification.

In related news, Omarion, who released his third studio album January 12, struggled to reach the top 10 on this week's chart. On the strength of the singles "I Get It In," "Hoodie" and "Speedin," the former B2K singer/actor sold just over 19,000 copies of "Ollusion".

Speaking of the new album with Singersroom, Omarion said "I wanted to tap into the fun elements as well as the serious aspects of a person like me," referring to the album. "I know there's so many people that’s like me, raised by a lot of women, father wasn’t really around. I took the fun elements of my life…the time growing up as a kid, then I took the more serious aspects of my life…talking about love (and) relationships -- that’s always the hot topic."

Omarion is wack as hell now. Sure, "O" was a great album--he was good then. The B2K breakup was the worst thing that could have happened for him. His braids made him different and kind of unique--he didn't look like all of these other scrub ass n****s running around. But first and foremost, he can't sing (that was disguised on "O" and with B2K), the beats are wack, and HE is wack!

Those days when a man could sell records on looks alone are ending....

  3. lala says:

Love A. Keys new album, don't care what anyone says, her album is great. She just proved all her haters wrong, her album bout to go platinum. As for O, well to bad for you. 19000 that's just sad. Stick to dancing and acting, singing is not working for you.

Omarion is soooo played out. Nobody is checking for him anymore. Hope he had a back up plan for his future like going to college and getting an education.
