Janet Jackson Craves 'Escape' On New Album

Janet Jackson is coming to terms with the reality of her brother, Michael Jackson's death but, not without a desire to simply escape the complexities of "life after" through music.
Speaking of her as-yet-untitled follow up to 2008s "Discipline," Jackson admits the album will be a bit different from previous efforts, due to reality.
"It’s going to be a little different. The writing is about life experiences," Jackson tells Gotham. "There’s a part of me that’s craving escapism, which is a sense of wanting to keep on moving with my work but also of coming to terms with reality. So I think it will be upbeat and light."
While much of the project remains under wraps, Jackson has enlisted the help of Rodney Jerkins, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. A release date has not been set.

Janet is still the hottest female performer out there. Beyonce is too commercialized...and borrows from other female artists. So does Rihanna,while they both do well. So does Britney...and whomever else. Janet is a legend. The fact that a white male was allowed to rip off her clothing at the Superbowl showsthe racism in this country...her songsstill being hot, but not promoted well. His stuff so copying of Michael...yet Justin was treated as if he were never there. Had that been 50 Cent and Britney, 50 would have been blamed at the S.Bowl.
First of all, Janet always put her albums out around late spring. Second, Beyonce puts out a piece of thrown together crap every 6 months, be it the original, relaunch, remixed or next album. Whatever it is, it all sounds alike and she needs to give it a rest. I to am looking forward to the NEW JANET!!!!
It's funny how eveyone waits until Beyonce goes on her hiatus to want to come out with an album lolz!!!! I guess it's or Beyonce for them huh lolz!!! History has shown that when Beyonce is getting ready to drop a new album,alot of artists push theirs back for weeks and months but when she goes on break then everybody feels like they have to put out a new album!! If Michael Jackson's kids are recruited/converted to Jehovah's Witnesses it could mean high profile *publicity* for the Watchtower as the Children won't be celebrating Christmas (which they have big plans for this year) won't be trick or treating at Halloween (which they have done this year too). They won't be saluting the Flag in School celebrating Thanksgiving,their own or any one else's birthdays and if they have God forbid physical injury trauma that requires an emergency *whole blood* transfusion the Watchtower propaganda on bloodless surgeries won't save them. I have always been a strong fan on the Jackson clan, Janet in particular, I love her for experiencing different things when it comes to her music and I'm pretty sure Janet will be up on it, I for one is excited about the CD
