Janet Jackson 'Selfish' For Moving On Without Michael

While it has been months since the tragic loss of her brother, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson says she feels almost selfish for pressing forward with her life and music career.
Speaking with Gotham magazine, which she covers this month, Jackson admits it has been hard to come to terms with his death.
"When you hear people say life goes on, it’s really the truth," says Jackson. "You can’t stop living. It becomes a part of you. I feel a bit selfish because there are times I feel I shouldn’t be doing this, but I enjoy my work and I have to keep doing it. I have to keep my life going. There are days that are harder than others."
Jackson is presently at work on a new album, slated for release this year. She also stars in the forthcoming Tyler Perry helmed flick 'Why Did I Get Married Too".

I also wanted to add, if Cherubim is so anxious about Janet's family business and thinks she's obligated to share her business, then YOU should be willing to share what YOU'RE family interactions are so we can sit back and judge you! Do you have recently orphaned relatives? Are you actively involved in their lives? If so, what are you doing? Or do you think it's no ones business? Janet does not hold public office or decide what happens to your tax dollars. Being a celebrity is not the same as holding public office and doesn't oblige her to fill you in on her family interactions. That's her business and hers alone. The End.

You can’t come and go from kids lives, it’s not healthy. Michael was with his kids at all times! They went with him everywhere, and if they didn’t, their nanny was there with them. It really makes you wonder how much time they did spend with the family. I can see Prince and Paris having the ability to somewhat adjust a little better, but not Prince (Blanket). You could see in the picture that was last taken at a family gathering for Joe and Katherine’s Anniversary that little Prince (Blanket) is right next to his dad! Although I feel that they all have to be nourished with love, and I’m sure they are, don’t let this precious little soul gets lost, and look in those eyes!! What do you see? I pray that Katherine is as strong willed as Michael thought, and she is able to fulfill his wishes. God’s blessings to all
When Paris talked of her father at the memorial service, it broke all our hearts…but Auntie Janet was there to comfort her and the boys with her love. Is she still there to do this????? I pray for peace for all involved
Well, Janet Jackson and the rest of Michael's sibling, by their actions makes it quite understandable why Michael Jackson did not bother to ask her or any of his other siblings to be the guardians of his children. Just the facts.
