Kanye West Talks New Album, 'Improved With Time'

Kanye West is back in studio and ready to give you the best he has to offer in 2010.
Breaking the news, West took to his official blog to thank fans for "constant love and support over the last six years," while shedding light on his forthcoming project over the weekend.
"I'M SO HAPPY TO BE BACK IN THE STUDIO MAKING NEW MUSIC," says West. "I WILL BRING YOU THE BEST I HAVE TO OFFER WITH THE SAME DEDICATION THAT KOBE HAS ON THE COURT."
Referencing iconic poets and other notable figures including Maya Angelou, West went on to proclaim that his music gets better with time. "IT'S FUNNY HOW SO MANY RAPPERS GET WORSE AS THEIR CAREERS STRETCH OUT BUT TRUE POETS GET BETTER," says West. "WE WILL FOLLOW IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF MAYAANGELOU, GILL SCOTT HERRON AND NINA SIMONE. THEIR WORK IMPROVED WITH TIME. THEY DOCUMENTED WHAT WAS HAPPENING IN CULTURE."
"THAT IS OUR RESPONSIBILITY AS THE MODERN DAY ARTISTS AND POETS, TO ACCURATELY REPRESENT WHAT IS HAPPENING NOW, SO WHEN THE POWERS THAT BE TRY TO REWRITE HISTORY YOU CAN ALWAYS LOOK AT OUR WORKS AND FIND TRUTH AND SINCERITY IN A WORLD OF PROCESSED INFORMATION."
"WE DON'T HAVE TO BELIEVE EVERYTHING ANYMORE. NOW I'LL FIGURE OUT A WAY TO MAKE THAT RYHME LOL!!!"
As previously reported, West has worked with Soulja Boy and has plans to release a new album in the near future. He is also nominated for six Grammy Awards, including Best Rap Performance By A Duo or Group for his "808s & Heartbreak" featured single "Amazing". He, along with fellow nominees, including collaborators Beyonce and Keri Hilson, will learn his fate January 31, when the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards air live from Los Angeles.
