Jordin Sparks Makes Time For 'New, Strange' Dating

When it comes to dating, American Idol winner Jordin Sparks says she's finally easing into the realm of going out with guys instead of "being one of the boys".
"I was always so focused on music and being one of the boys," Sparks says of making time for dates in 2009. "It’s new for me. It’s different and strange and weird all at the same time."
For months Sparks has been linked to "Mr. Ordinary" and "Sunshine" singer/songwriter Steph Jones. While the duo has remained somewhat mum on the extent of their relationship, Sparks makes an appearance in a recently premiered music video rendition of "Little Drummer Boy".
Admitting that she's proud of not just dating but learning how to juggle her time between music and her personal life, Sparks recently told Upscale "This year, I finally made the time to ease my way into dating, but I never really dated before."
Now that both her personal and professional goals are in motion, Sparks says you can look forward to hearing music from her for some time.
"I want to have longevity and stay around."
