Alicia Keys Alicia Keys has officially made the strongest debut for a R&B/Hip Hop female artist this year!

According to Billboard, the "Doesn't Mean Anything" singer's latest effort "The Element of Freedom" arrived on this week's charts with over 417,000 copies sold.

Earning the top spot on the R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart and Digital Albums chart, Keys' album also earned the no.2 spot on the Billboard 200.

Keys' debut at no.2 on the Billboard 200 is historic in that it is the Grammy winner's first debut below no.1.

Runaway Billboard 200 star Susan Boyle tops this week's chart again thanks to sales in excess of 661,000 copies ("I Dreamed A Dream"). Sources say Boyle may top  the year's best selling artist, Taylor Swift, if sales of "I Dreamed A Dream" continue. The album has sold well over 2.4 million copies since its arrival in stores last month.

In related news, Robin Thicke's "Sex Therapy: The Session" opens at no.9 on this week's Billboard 200.  Thanks to sales in excess of 123,000 copies moved, Thicke's "Sex Therapy" is the second strongest debut of the week.

Watch out for Mary J. Blige's latest effort "Stronger With Each Tear" on next week's Billboard 200 chart. The album is now available in stores and at digital retailers.
