Michael JacksonThe at once anticipated Vienna-based tribute to late King of Pop, Micheal Jackson set to be rescheduled and relocated in 2010 has officially been canceled !

Sources say the event's organizer, World Awards Media GmbH, closed down November 30 and has since been liquidated, making it impossible for original plans described by Jackson's brother, Jermaine, to move forward.

"The company cannot sign any new contracts and will certainly not plan any new events," Martin Schneider, liquidator for the organizers, told Reuters Friday.

At one point the highly publicized tribute was to feature performances from Mary J. Blige, Chris Brown and Natalie. Each of those acts dismissed claims that they were involved.

The concert would have taken place at a 17th century palace. After its cancellation it was rumored that London's popular O2 Arena, where Jackson was to perform over fifty dates on his expected 'This Is It' concert series, would host a tribute in 2010.

Jermaine Jackson, nor parties close to him, have issued a statement regarding news of World Awards Media GmbH's closure and liquidation.

I agree with everyone so far on here and why has no one told him that he has the most terrible taste in clothing, that wack-ass haircut, plus he always looks like he used the entire jar of vaseline on his face. Why hasn't it been addressed to why Randy is not on their reality show too???

See there you go, it was all Michael who ran the show..lol....Man,look without him they can't even get there s*** together what a shame..Jermaine needs to stop trying to place himself in the spotlight..for whatever reason he can find because he sure isn't doing any justice for himself or the rest of them. Another failure..What's next?

I knew all along that this tribute concert was never going to happen. It was already canceled once before so it shouldn't surprise anybody that it has been canceled again. There are way too many inconsistencies and contradictions in this so called "death" of Michael Jackson for it to be all real. This is looking more and more like a hoax everyday. How is it that the doctor that killed Michael is now free to go back to work and give other people propofol? Nothing adds up! No one can deny that there is definitely something going on here. Just look at how the Jackson family is acting and the truth about Michael's "death" should be clear to you.

  7. Sam says:

The Jackson's are one of my all-time favorite groups, and I usually try to key in positive, professional and real comments when blogging..and I'm all for an MJ-All star-tribute, if done correctly, but "Jermaine needs to go sit his ass down somewhere!"
