Whitney Houston admits it can be tough raising a teenager daughter. Despite having "moments" every now and then she will never leave her.
"We have our moments when we clash, but we have a good relationship," Houston tells InStyle. "I want her to count on me to try to understand what she’s going through. No damnation, no condemnation, nothing that's going to make her feel like she can’t come to me."
Houston covers the January 2010 issue of InStyle, which hit newsstands December 18. Inside the issue, Houston talks about her relationship with family; what her fans and music mean to her after years of struggle; and making the ultimate decision to return to music.
As previously reported, Houston released her first album in over five years, titled "I Look To You," in August. Featuring the singles "Million Dollar Bill" and "I Look To You," the album kicked off a series of appearances at events including the American Music Awards. Houston is due to kick off her first European tour in sometime, next year.

I enjoy her songs I will always love you
Mariah just announced some US tour dates. So did Alicia Keys. But where's Whitney? Even people in their 50s would like to see her, and young people like her too! She bridges all generations of music. I still own that November 1981 issue of Seventeen magazine, her first cover ever (years before she became real big!)
I love me some Ms. Houston. Now, if that little Bobbi Kristina gets out of hand, simply ship her off to be with her loving father. That would be enough punishment. You know, I wonder if Whitters is still nice to BB's other kids. On BBB, she was so involved with them.
