Kelis Not Afraid To Push Limits With Will.I.Am
While Kelis reportedly had a number of choices when it came time to sign a recording and distribution deal for her as-yet-untitled 2010 album, the "Acapella" singer believes choosing Black Eyed Peas star/producer Will.I.Am was the right decision.
"I think he's brilliant," Kelis tells Rap-Up. "He’s like a musical encyclopedia."
When it comes to taking her sound to the next level, Kelis says Will.I.Am has no problem with pushing the envelope.
"He’s not afraid to push the limits and kinda go further than everyone else and that’s exciting."
As previously reported, Kelis inked a deal with Will.I.Am/Interscope Records earlier this year. An as-yet-untitled album is slated to be released in 2010, her first since 2006s "Kelis Was Here".

Kelis faces more competiton now, more than ever since her debut and still cannot put on a great live show as compared to others! Their are a wide array of different, R&B-based divas who are now on the scene and can rock any stage like Chrisette Michelle, Angie Stone & Ledisi to the more dance/R&B ones like Ciara, Fergie and Lady Gaga!
