Kelis, Nas Settle Financial Battle In Court
Former music super couple Nas and Kelis have agreed to a financial settlement stemming from their ongoing divorce case.
According to Los Angeles based reports, Nas has agreed to pay the "Blindfold Me" star $51,000 per month but not without compromise. In paying the $51,000, Nas sheds a reported $13,000 bill on a home they once shared.
Speaking after the hearing sources say Kelis was "thrilled" with the settlement agreement and plans to work hard on her forthcoming album.
As previously reported on Singersroom, Kelis recently signed a new record deal with Will.I.Am. (of Black Eyed Peas fame) and Interscope Records.
Her latest single "Acapella" was released via Twitter in November.
In related news, sources say Nas tried to reconcile with Kelis earlier this year but failed.
