Whitney HoustonEven with what is being called one of the biggest snubs in Grammy history, there is light for Whitney Houston at the end of the tunnel.

Houston's anticipated effort "I Look To You" has been certified RIAA Platinum in the United States for sales in excess of 1 million copies.

Featuring work with Akon, R. Kelly, Diane Warren, Claude Kelly and more, Houston's "I Look To You" arrived in stores August 31. It has since delivered two singles, including the R.Kelly penned "I Look To You".

In related news, Whitney Houston is due to embark on her first European Tour in some time next year. Set to kick off Spring of 2010, the tour will make rounds through London, Manchester, and Birmingham.
